Let's volunteer for the organizations that will need us most these next four years. And let's pay our employees to do it.
So many of us who were shocked by this year's presidential election are left wondering what the future holds for us, our families and our fellow Americans. Can our voices be heard? They can. The majority of Americans voted for Hillary Clinton. We are stronger TOGETHER. There are many organizations that will be needing our support during these next four years. If each of us gets out and volunteers at one of these many organizations, even once, we could make a huge difference.
As a business owner and mother, I know how valuable time is, and I understand that the weekends are short. (For those of us lucky enough to have weekends off- or any time off, for that matter.) This is my message to other small business owners: Let's make it easy for our employees to spend a day helping an organization that will be in serious need during Donald Trump's presidency. And let's pay them for their day of service.
Just imagine the impact we could have.
